Practical Problem Solving and New Opportunities in the Digital Age of Photography with Stephen Johnson
The digital age of photography offers unique opportunities to address longtime photographic issues and new opportunities to take photography to an even greater power to record what we see and react to with out hearts.
This lecture address both the practical and the aesthetic with detail and sensitivity. Issues are addressed such a chromatic aberration, perspective, exposures with realistic shadow and highlight representations, realistic color including remapping default camera interpretation to more custom and accurate renditions. Editing opportunities to emphasize strengths, reduce distractions without major photo fibbing will also be explored. Gray areas of retouching ethics and audience communication will be touched upon in this dynamic lecture.
