I am starting a print showing/sharing event 4-6pm on Saturday September 28. Email to RSVP and reserve a spot to share or merely enjoy viewing. This is an opportunity to bring prints to share your recent work and show your prints. It is not a review or critique unless you want that, it is a chance to show and see the special quality of original prints. I am starting this with no charge connected to it.
There is a long tradition in photography of gathering and sharing work. These Photo Sharing days can continue that tradition.
Feedback on our work has proven critical to many of us involved in the arts. In this emerging age of digital photography, it is hard to find people knowledgeable in the technology and with a background and experience in the fine arts.
Composition, original execution, editing and printing can all be discussed. You can explore your concerns and aspirations for the work for feedback and encouragement on how to make the images stronger.
The session will be conducted from 2 until 4pm and refreshments can be brought and shared. Attendance will be limited to 10 people wishing to show work, others may attend to observe.
