From Raw to Photoshop: An Image Editing Virtual Workshop
A Workshop Guiding Photographers Toward Rendering with Intent and Skill
A half-day virtual workshop concentrating on Raw processing and Photoshop as straightforward photo processing tools rather than instruments of image alteration. It is a great chance to explore digital photographic interpretation with Steve as he demonstrates his use of editing tools, executed with restraint and finesse. This class is designed to break down the steps to really understand the processes, and to work through difficult images. Topics Include paying attention to Natural Color, Realistic Contrast and Shadows in a Luminous World, Sharpening with Restraint and Image Aesthetics reflecting our real world experience.
A Q&A session will conclude the workshop and extend past time if needed.
Class Workings
In this period of pandemic shelter in place, we are starting virtual education sessions to create a forum for getting suggestions and feedback on your photographic work.
The session will be conducted from 9am until noon with time for questions afterward. Attendance will be limited to 5 students wishing to show work, others may attend to listen and learn. Digital files can be emailed ahead or shown simply by screen sharing during the session.
