Any trip to Death Valley takes me to Titus Canyon. The long road in from Nevada, the climb up to Red Pass and its wonderful vista, and the ride through the canyon itself makes it quite a journey. Just as were entering the canyon, this play of line and texture grabbed my eye. I wondered at the time how it is that I had never noticed this scene before. There is so much to see, and what we manage to see one time and not another is very curious.
