A Virtual Seminar Guiding Photographers Toward Greater Control
The digital age of photography offers unique opportunities to address longtime photographic issues and new opportunities to take photography to an even greater power to record what we see and react to with our hearts.
This seminar address both the practical and the aesthetic with detail and sensitivity. Issues addressed are chromatic aberration, perspective correction, optical distortion, panoramic stitching, expanded depth of field, expanded dynamic range, exposures with realistic shadow and highlight representations, realistic color including remapping default camera interpretation to more custom and accurate renditions. Editing opportunities to emphasize strengths, reduce distractions without major photo fibbing will also be explored. Gray areas of retouching ethics and audience communication will be touched upon in this dynamic lecture.

In this period of pandemic shelter in place, we are starting virtual education sessions to create a forum for getting suggestions and feedback on your photographic work.
The session will be conducted from 9am until 12 noon with time fro questions afterward. Attendance will be limited.
